Register of Deeds Vital Record Request Wait times & Issuance Holds
September 10 - September 30
Beginning Monday September 14th, a new SD State-issued software will be rolled out for issuance of Birth, Death, & Marriage Certificates and Marriage Licenses. Due to software issues and other factors, wait times are expected to be longer and issuance may not be readily available as issues with the new system are experienced. Marriage Licenses will not be issued after 4:30 PM.
This is on-going until the State has resolved the issues.
