| Dan C. Sudrla started his duties as Planning and Zoning Supervisor
on July 1, 1997. He graduated from Mitchell High School
and Black Hills State College. He holds a BS Degree in
Math and Physical Science. He is a member of the South
Dakota Planner Association. |

| Office Information |
- Temporary Zoning Ordinance: Adopted
April 29, 1996
- Permanent Ordinance: Adopted April 1, 1998 / Amended
March 7, 2000, October 24, 2000 and December 14, 2004.
- Office is located in the Director of Equalization Office,
located in the basement of the Davison County Courthouse.
- Issues all building permits, help property owners with
Plat’s (when needed). Provide help in all conditional
use permits and variances.
- The goal of the Planning and Zoning Office is to promote
residential development in an orderly fashion and to conserve
agricultural land.
- Planning Commission meets the first Tuesday of each month
at 1:15 p.m., except during daylight savings time then meetings
begin at 7:30 p.m.
