Dan C. Sudrla started his duties as Planning and Zoning Supervisor on July 1, 1997.  He graduated from Mitchell High School and Black Hills State College.  He holds a BS Degree in Math and Physical Science.  He is a member of the South Dakota Planner Association.
 
Office Information
  1. Temporary Zoning Ordinance:  Adopted April 29, 1996
  2. Permanent Ordinance:  Adopted April 1, 1998 / Amended March 7, 2000, October 24, 2000 and December 14, 2004.
  3. Office is located in the Director of Equalization Office, located in the basement of the Davison County Courthouse.
  4. Issues all building permits, help property owners with Plat’s (when needed).  Provide help in all conditional use permits and variances.
  5. The goal of the Planning and Zoning Office is to promote residential development in an orderly fashion and to conserve agricultural land.
  6. Planning Commission meets the first Tuesday of each month at 1:15 p.m., except during daylight savings time then meetings begin at 7:30 p.m.
